We all Start Somewhere

September 21, 2020 by Traci Lawman

Lucy

This is Lucy as a young pup.  When we drove to Ohio to pick her up, I knew her purpose was not only to bring love to our family, but to also bring love to those that need a little furry affection.  I began looking for therapy dog training classes to see if she had the temperament to serve and love in this capacity.  She took the eight hours of classes and passed the test.  She was a natural who can sense the need for gentleness, while wagging her tail and loving the receiver of her affection.  Did you know that DOG is GOD spelled backwards?  This is not a coincidence.  God knew what he was doing when dogs were created.  And Lucy was created to serve God.  She provides doggy kisses, side rubs, warm expressions, and love to all those we visit.  If you are lucky enough to be greeted by a therapy dog, know that they love their “job” as much as they love you.

Gifts from the Heart

Losing a dog, a furry family member, is ruff. I love dogs and photography. Take a peek at the sympathy cards I have created. They are all originals, and from my heart, as I have lost many and remember vividly what each dog I have owned brought to my life.
